MyPictureDay: "Pützchens Markt" Part/Teil 1 [English/German]

Dear friends,

two days ago I visited one of the most traditional funfairs in Germany called "Pützchens Markt".

His origins go back to the year 1367 and since the beginning of the 18th century he regularly takes place on the market meadow of Pützchen-Bechlinghoven, which belongs to Bonn these days.

Here are some photo-impressions for you:

The Ferris wheel

Admission charge were quite remarkable. Two adults and a child had to pay about 20 Dollars. But sun was shining and I hoped for making some nice shots from above: So go for it!

Die Preise waren schon beachtlich. Für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind sollten wir fast 20 Euro hinblättern. Aber die Sonne schien gerade so schön und ich wollte ein paar Fotos von oben machen: Also nichts wie los!

April weather

Right when we entered the gondola some dark clouds appeared at the sky. But it was already too late to go back.

And then?

While the sun was still shining, it heavily started to rain. You can see, what happens then in the next part of my little funfair story.
