📷 The Tsai Residence 蔡家洋樓 - Old House
I visited this place a few weeks ago. This western styled brick house was built in 1939 and the owners ran a coal mining business. The architectural style stands out against the neighboring houses in the quiet countryside.

The descendants of the owner now reside in Taipei City and a portion migrated to California and Sydney.

There's a big tree in the front of the house.

And the obligatory night time exposure. I have a photo project in mind with this place which will need more people to help out with lighting, so I will re-visit this place! I had a quick look inside, but didn't take any shots of the interior, giving me another reason to go back!

Nice old place. So, this is still owned by the original owners?
And public allow to visit?
I think it's still owned by the descendants of the original owners, and it is open to the public.
