I would say you did quite well with a less-than-better camera, that's for sure. What a beautiful place to photo.
Thanks, I was surrounded by beautiful scenery everyday while I was in Nepal, I could even see the Himalayas from the village I stayed at :)
Did you have trouble with the oxygen level? I had a friend that traveled about there. He said the normal elevation is so high, when NOT in the mountains made it difficult. But then maybe you are used to that. He was a flatlander.
I didn't have trouble, but maybe because the elevation wasn't higher than what I can tolerate (I feel fine up to 3500 m).
Still looks lovely, after all 'the best camera is the one you have with you' ;) Sometimes shots like this are made all the more special by sub par equipment, it kind of dates the shot whenever you look at it. The older I get the more I look back at photos taken on early digital cameras, or film, and I care less and less about their imperfections!
