My summer holiday at Sts Constantine and Helena in Bulgaria photo story by @shemZee
Dear friends,
Today I`m going to tell you about my visit to a resort town called "Saints Constantine and Helena" in Bulgaria.
This is Bulgaria's oldest Black Sea resort also known in the past as Druzhba (Friendship) or Varna Resort.
Saints Constantine and Helena is situated on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast within a landscaped park about 10 km north of downtown Varna. It is served by bus lines of the Varna public transit system and also easily accessible by car
.
Last summer I visited this resort with my wife and son for a little vacation.
The place is very beautiful, the scenary is breathtaking, the light breeze from the sea is a real blessing in the summer heat.
I didn`t like the Las Vegas style kitsch of the various hotels offering more or less the same quality of service, but the sea and the breeze meant more to me, so I focused on them. The staff /hotels, restaurants, beach bars/ were extremely polite too.
The weather was nice /brilliant sunshine, light breeze and warm sea/ so we spent a lot of time on the beach.
There were all sorts of attractions. Like this 'pirate ship ' restaurant.
My favourite place was another restaurant called MORE

Great atmosphere and delicious food.
The place is excellent for your evening meals /but you need to book a table first/. We visited it during the day after sunbathing /you get very hungry at the beach you know/
Its great for /late/ morning coffee too. If you look closely you can see the books on the shelf behind me, they are all free to read while you
re having your coffee if you are a reader of course.
As I said already the views are breathtaking
