Cry Wolf Or Laughing Coyote 🐺 You Tell Me
Little Good Wolf
It happened fast, the light was low and
shaded, grabbed the phone camera and
got what I could with in a few seconds.
Had just woke up and no coffee and yep
it was through the glass slider door, for
most critters if I open said door they
disappear most the time, cause then the
dogs will start barking and the cat will roar!
Photo taken at 200 feet give or take a
few toes.
What kind of critter is this really?
Young wolf, coyote, hybrid?
On a lighter note, if the Sun is Little Red
Riding Hood, then who is the Big Bad Wolf?

Beautiful animal. Maybe a Coywolf? Wikipedia claims "nearly all North American gray wolf populations possess some degree of admixture with coyotes" ,but that the lowest levels occur in Alaska...

We watched a program a while back about Coywolves in eastern Canada/US... those animals definitely displayed traits (physical and behavioral) of both Wolves and Coyotes. it was fascinating...

I don't know, I was thinking wolf like you, but then again there are a lot of coyotes around here, but then you go and mention hybrid, and there are definitely a lot of those around this neck of the woods, maybe that what is it guy will stop by, but I forget his steemit name. Maybe he will see the post or someone will send it to him. I still think wolf, but could be a hybrid also, not so sure about coyote, it looks to healthy, but looks can be deceiving.
