📷 About Sadness and Argish

Well, while countries somewhere close their borders, let us look one more time at the reindeer from the polar Urals. In some photographs, for example, this one, it seems to me that their eyes are so dark and sad that I feel slightly uneasy. Why are these noble animals sad? I do not know. However, our cat also sometimes looks as if she sees and feels all the troubles of the world, and this at the time when she lives, in my opinion, very good...

These beauties, unlike the one photo I showed you for the first time, have horns, although not very large. By the way, in the background you can see hornless ones.

I would like to visit them again, for example, in the spring, when the Nenets begin argish — moving on reindeer teams along with all their belongings, and active wandering every few days / weeks. This is due to the constant search for food for reindeer herds, and they say this is a very grandiose sight — after all, the Nenets have large herds, and all the things of one or several nomadic families take up a lot of space, a lot of sledges, and require a lot of time to gather.

Well, this year I definitely won’t be able to go to the Yamal Peninsula again, but maybe next year, who knows?
