Magical night time photos Of Tokyo’s Streets through Masashi Wakui look immediately Out Of Miyazaki films (New pictures)

in #photography7 years ago

Masashi Wakui (previously here) is a self-taught eastern photographer who hides in the dark corners of Tokyo to record the town like a scene from an intimate fairytale.

Focusing on the japanese town at some stage in the night, Wakui brings out its mesmerizing vibrant colors. He flawlessly captures the poetry of Tokyo's lively slim streets, packed with humming neon signs and symptoms and mysterious figures.

The usage of high-overall performance compact cameras, Wakui generally explores the backstreets and alleyways of Shibuya and Shinjyuku, however visits other districts as nicely. His aesthetic photos may seem like images from the set of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, but the concern within the pics aren't actors or fashions - they are just regular citizens who came about to pass the path of Wakui's lens.

@shantariq you've just got yourself new follower!!! Since i'm someone driven and fascinated by Japanese culture&history and i never been to Tokyo, can you please just confirm that life for a foreigner in Japan is not so hard how it's being publicly presented ?

Many thanks,

@murda-ra aka Lucifer

Love for foreigner is not difficult as presented by other peoples. You will receive a lot of love and respect by peoples of japan. one thing is kind of problem sometimes only few peoples understand english. I will try to post all the things that a foreigner need to understand if they are coming to japan.

Thanks for your love for japan

@shantariq
If you do post about howto for foreigners, please don't forget to tag me so i can read and follow up... Sometimes it's really hard to follow up good content, there is so much shit being posted each millisecond here, so sometime good stuff goes quickly down the drain, and we cant follow manually each person we are trying to...

Thanks

Lucifer

P.S. If post is good maybe i move there. Now i'm more close then was years ago when love developed for it, so it's quite possible. But yes, i know Asia is critical with education and English language, and felt it on my skin in Thailand, but i'm really good with Languages so i'm not avoiding the fact that i have to learn Japanese which i know is super hard language by default.

sure i will tag you.Thank you

You are most welcome! :)

Great pics! :D

thanks for your time

So beautiful pictures.
Absolutely stunning:)

Gorgeous photos. As someone who has seen nearly every Miyazaki film, I'd agree that they do seem to have that same charm. I would say that they're a cross between Miyazaki and Blade Runner.
