It is a popular ornamental tree due to its vibrant yellow flowers and its ability to tolerate hot and dry conditions.The Golden Shower Tree is a medium-sized deciduous tree that can grow up to 10-15 meters in height. It has a spreading canopy with large, pinnate leaves that consist of several pairs of leaflets.The tree blooms during the summer months, producing clusters of long, pendulous, trumpet-shaped flowers that are bright yellow in color.The tree is renowned for its profuse blooming of yellow flowers, which can cover the entire canopy and create a stunning visual display. The flowers have five petals, with the uppermost petal being slightly larger and darker in color.They attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinatorsAfter the flowering period, the tree develops long, cylindrical pods that can reach up to 60 cm in length.These pods hang vertically from the branches and contain numerous flat, brown seeds. When the pods mature, they turn dark brown and eventually split open to release the seeds.
