The Znamensky Monastery 🏰
The Znamensky Monastery dates to 1629, and is located within Moscow's newest park, Zaryadye. The park provides a glance at the historical centre from an unfamiliar perspective and a sense of wild urbanism with the onion domes of St Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin Towers and Vavarka Ulitsa visible through strategically placed birch trees. Zaryadye is a breath of fresh air in one of the world’s great cities, where empty spaces are too often developed into offices, apartments, or luxury hotels.
Such a big building. Poor cleaning ladies. 😂
Haha, did you manage to visit Zaryadye?
Yes, I've been in that park.
