Valleyfest Car Show
My son-in-law is a car enthusiast. He owns a 2004 Mazda RX-8 and enjoys entering it in car shows. Yesterday I finally made it to one of his shows, and had a great time looking at all the cars at the Valleyfest Car Show. I will post several pictures below. Sorry, but I don't know what make, model and year most of them are! I just like the way they look. (And all the male heads are shaking sorrowfully as they read this confession.)
I thought this was clever, with the vintage drive-up tray and the A&W mugs!
This was one of my favorites, partly because my friend's parents had one of these in the 1960s.
This sign had me laughing so hard, I didn't even take a picture of the cooling system described.
This is my son-in-law's "baby." He won 2nd place in the imports division!
The winner of the imports division was this car. Two more pics of it follow.
Lovely cars!! You did a nice job taking pictures of them!
Car shows are fun. My husband manages a parts store in our area, and he put on a car show a couple years ago. It was fun!
I particularly like the classic muscle cars. :)
Ooh, I like the reflections in the side of the car! It was a challenge trying to get decent pictures with so many people milling around, and the cars so close together. Glad you enjoyed the pics!
Thanks!
I know how it is. It can be hard to get decent pictures. Yours came out great though!
I am indeed shaking my head sorrowfully ;)
Woow...Cool. Thank you for sharing. Hope we can be connected and help each other.
Cheers.
May I suggest connecting with people by leaving substantive comments that can form the basis for a conversation? Ask questions. Maybe help ID some of the cars pictured. That creates the real connections to make your Steemit career work. It takes effort, but real engagement with others will in turn bring engagement to your own posts as well. Don't make it about you. Make it about the content on which you comment. Also, upvoting your own comments looks downright desperate. Upvote your own posts, but let other people be the ones voting on your comments.
