The Lone Lighthouse Against the Fury of the Lakes

The Great Lakes were stirred up from gale force winds at the beginning of December. A number of photographers arrived to brave the 40 knot winds to get some shots from shore. We took turns huddling behind a barrier and watching for rogue waves streaming far up the shore.

This photo looks a lot warmer than it truly was.
