Remembering November 22, 1963
For most Americans, 11/22/1963 is an infamous date in our country's history. I wasn't born yet, but my mother would always tell me about where she was when she heard the President Kennedy was shot and killed. It truly changed the course of American history.
A few years ago, I finally had a chance to visit Dallas and go to Dealy Plaza where shots rang out from the book depository as the Kennedy motorcade rode past. It was a powerful moment to stand there and see where this horrible, infamous assassination took place. And yes, standing there only strengthened my belief that Oswald was the lone gunman. It's surprising how close the depository is to the street seeing it in person.
