Landscape Photography - The Farmland of Israel

For @juliank's weekly #landscapephotography contest I wanted to feature one of the great surprises from my trip to Israel over the summer. On a 2-hour drive South from Tel Aviv to the Dead Sea, we traveled through the most amazing green and beautiful farmlands. Some of it reminded me of growing up in the midwest of the United States. For a climate that doesn't really favor agriculture, it's a testament to Israel's research and development to creates such fertile lands.
