The term salabhanjika most likely meant a session of social event sala blooms by ladies when sala trees were in full bloom. It was especially prominent in eastern India in antiquated occasions. The Salabhanjika celebration was seen amid the season of the Buddha and it is said that Buddha's mom likewise took an interest in it and that she conveyed Siddhartha holding a part of the sala tree. This in the end prompt the presence of various 'lady and tree' themes in sanctuaries, stupas, Jain bhandaras and havelis. AHSI is arranged at 1 Alipore Road, Kolkata, in the prime area of the city and spread more than 21 sections of land containing principle yards, casual greenery enclosures and youngsters stop. It has numerous uncommon and tropical plants as quality banks. As you enter the garden from the group of tall storied structures and auto smoke sprinkled street you would feel the grand peacefulness of rich green yards free from contamination and clamor.
Visit the Garden, settle a date with the vivacious plants, become acquainted with the uncommon and terminated species. Love the blossoms sowed on the superb bloom bed. Stroll along the way looking the plants and trees on either side. Take rest at the way side bliss seater and you would feel that you are in the lap of nature, far from the solid wilderness of the city.

As you move inside watching the blossom beds on the either sides of the metallic way, you will go over a huge green field to your left side that is encompassed by the trees and slept with green little all around trimmed uncommon types of grass. The tremendousness of the field, the greenery of the field will charm you for some time and you will love to wander around the field viewing the uncommon types of plants.
