A Huge Bonfire

in #photography8 years ago
So, I took these photos of this huge bonfire that people light up all over the city during the festival of Holi, which is the festival of colours and is celebrated by Hindus in India and Nepal.
This bonfire is lit on the eve of the festival and is symbolic of the triumph of good over evil. This particular bonfire was huge and the fiery fire danced and swirled all around, emanating intense heat. The experience was really one of a kind.

Wow! I think there was hot!

Yeah! It was very hot. Had to stand like 20 feet away from it! haha

If I'm not wrong the Holi idea sort of caught on in many parts of the world in the form of the colour run.

Yes, it surely did. People love celebrating and having fun and what better way to do it than throwing colors at each other :D
