Your photos sure show how a plant can escape from gardens and take over a place! Those top two pictures are spectacular -- so much Oxalis!
The bees may like it, but when their flowers are gone, the area is more barren for the bees, because the Oxalis kept them out. This plant is still becoming more and more of a problem in California! So it is a cautionary example for thinking about what we grow in our gardens!
But, from a forager's perspective, when a weed is invasive like this, we can harvest all that we want! Any part of an Oxalis is good to eat, for people that like rhubarb, sheep sorrel, or other lemon-like sour plants that have oxalic acid in them. I like using Oxalis in salads, in soup, with fish, and to make flavored water. And I just chew on it when I find it, too! :D

Ah, I was a child always sucked this flower! However, I never use it in the kitchen
