Life of Havana is very slow, but in the same time very vivid.
When the night falls, life of Havana becomes even more joyful. People are friendly and if you manage to run into a private party you are more than welcome to join.
In the other hand it is quite easy to lose some of your cash “helping” the locals. You can often get fooled for your money without even noticing it.
In the year 2004/5 when these photos were taken, the average wage in Cuba was a total of $10.
