Velliangiri Hills, Coimbatore - South Kailash
You have to trek barefoot, across seven hills, to reach the destination--a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. It's called South Kailaish for a reason. The view from top of the hill is simply breathtaking. It transports you into another world.

Where else did you go?
I like to travel, not alone, but with good company. I have covered most of South of India--Kerala, Karnataka, and, of course, Tamil Nadu. Recently, I traveled to Orissa. My next destination is either Gujarat or Andhra Pradesh.
