The total tranquility of a mountain walk in the South of France
We live an equal distance between the sea and the mountains, both about 30mins drive. The area we drove to yesterday is a ski resort in the winter. You can see where the trees have been removed on the mountain for the chair lifts to carry people up and down.
Esteban was a little shocked at first as the air is much cooler up in the mountains.
Luna didn't seem to care ;)
Here you can see Mamman telling the kids a story about a pine cone.
There are such beautiful things to find in forests when we look for them...

Unlike these two people, this is where we turned around and returned to the car park as we were not prepared to do the 4 hour trek to the lake at the end of this road. Next time!
How lucky we are to live in such a spectacular region :)
