Our names are Michael Goetze & Jampal Williamson and we are Salty Wings.

We were relatively early adopters of bitcoin (2011) and a few years ago we decided to invest our bitcoins into drones. So we became relatively early adopters of drone technology.

In 2015 we quit our jobs and sent our drones on a 20,000km journey along the coast of Western Australia, capturing its expansive, breathtaking earthliness in high resolution. We are fascinated with photographing remote and unique landscapes. It is within these landscapes that we have developed our abstract style. With a focus on seascapes; a mixture of vibrant water, pristine sand and rugged rocks, we continue to search for imagery unlike anything ever seen before.

In 2017 we plan to expand our horizons and explore the world, starting with the USA and Europe!
