Skardu is a Beautiful City in Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan. Skardu is the main city of Gilgit Baltistan Province along the wide bank of the indus river. Skardu is the largest district of the Gilgit Baltistan. Skardu is very popular with Mountaineering.The climate of Skardu during the summer is moderated by its mountain setting. Skardu has a character of its own and has a very interesting and beautiful scenery. The Indus becomes wide and still here. Skardu is surrounded by dry rugged mountains and sand dunes.The Famous Deosai National Park is located in the Skardu .The park is located on the Deosai Plains of the Gilgit Baltistan.
