The Indian ring-necked parakeets, it’s grow up to 40 cm in length with their tail feathers. The female parrots have no neck ring Only the males have the red or black ring around the neck which gives the difference between.
They like to live in groups and sometimes it can be found in flocks of thousands of birds. They are very noisy and often mix with other birds.
At the time of breeding, they lay 3-4 eggs in their nest (like tree cavities/ rock crevices and buildings).
