You can read the Steemit whitepaper about how it all works. It sometimes feels like a work in progress but I think there are like 100k users now in just a few months. It is starting to catch on. It takes some getting use too but the people are pretty cool and helpful around here. I think your work is great and will do well here. Thanks for the invite. Likewise if you are ever in SD visiting.
