Kyoto's such a beautiful place. I was on tour there many years ago and was lucky enough to stay in a hotel in Gion as well as being given a guided tour around it in a rickshaw.

It's funny and I'm sure you caught the woman in a kimono taking a selfie while the sign just in front of her says no selfies with a selfie stick.
