Industrial Complex

This was the night I got talked down by a few security guards for being where I wasn't supposed to when I wasn't supposed to be there. Ya know, I'm a real maverick, a rebel, some might say. I see some good images, I go after 'em. The "no trespassing" signs don't always bother me so much, since I know I'm never there to make any real mischief, just to wander around and stare at things from weird angles.

Bonus Picture (!)

I've always wanted to take pictures inside an abandoned mall somewhere, and I hear there's a few in North Carolina actually, but that just seems like it might be a bridge too far for the sake of getting some good shots. Plus, I'm hazy on the details of abandoned commercial real estate. Anybody have any experience taking pictures in abandoned malls? Were you able to get permission to go in there and poke around?

I like the bonus picture, looks really cool! Abandoned places are meant to be explored in my opinion, no harm no foul but the law says otherwise :(

Ugh...I know, right? I feel like if I could explore the right channels though, and be like, "Hey, I'm not a meth-head or a murderer, I'm just a photographer," then there might be a way to gain access? Idk, maybe I'm being too optimistic.

But you might run into said meth head or murderer for sure in said abandoned building. That's what keeps me from going in, and I'm obsessed, too.

Have you ever watched Dan Bell's Dead Mall Series on Youtube? I became obsessed with it for a while.
