Oldtimers: elegant, cool, or cute
A perfect summer days, thousands of vintage cars, and a camera -- what a great day it was! We continue our look at the German Automobile Club's annual Oldtimer Rally in Southern Bavaria. I wanted to highlight this elegantly beautiful car, so I painstakingly removed the crowd and surrounding cars ;-)
Perfekte Sommertage, tausende Oldtimer und eine Kamera - was für ein toller Tag! Wir blicken weiter auf die jährliche Oldtimer-Rallye des ADAC in Südbayern. In einem früheren Beitrag habe ich euch einen roten Jaguar XKE Coupé präsentiert, und dieses Cabrio ist genauso schön! Ich wollte dieses elegante wunderschöne Auto hervorheben, also entfernte ich mühsam das Publikum und die herumstehenden Autos ;-)

Here is another classic Jaguar, and below it a BMW that looks like it might be a relative.
Hier ist noch ein klassischer Jaguar. Darunter ein BMW, der fast wie ein Verwandter ausschaut.

I just love these old cars. We have an US-car show not for away from me this weekend. I was there for a short visit yesterday evening. There were only a few cars, because the main acts are today and tomorrow. Well, maybe I can do it for a short visit tomorrow morning.

Thanks! I think you might be correct, it looks like a Alfa Romeo Giulietta -- but I'm not 100% sure. It was a drive-by ;-)
Very good looking cars. Cute dog too and not to be outsmarted. We love old cars, especially the sleek ones. The old stately looking jaguars are a favourite of mine as I loved the mauve light on the dashboard. friends had one in the 1960's. Thanks for the post.
