Jaguar
This Jaguar is an absolutely classic beauty. In Europe it is known as the Jaguar E-Type, and in America we know it as the Jaguar XK-E. Series production began in 1961 and the “series 1” continued through 1968. I'm not sure what year this particular car was produced, if you happen to know please post it in the comments.
These cars were not only elegantly beautiful, but there were also incredibly fast for that period, both in terms of acceleration and top speed.
Dieser Jaguar ist eine absolut klassische Schönheit. In Europa ist es als Jaguar E-Type bekannt, und in Amerika kennen wir es als Jaguar XK-E. Die Serienproduktion begann 1961 und die "Serie 1" setzte sich bis 1968 fort. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, in welchem Jahr dieses Auto hergestellt wurde, wenn du es zufällig weißt, schreib es bitte in den Kommentar.
Diese Autos waren nicht nur elegant, sondern für die damalige Zeit auch unglaublich schnell, sowohl in Bezug auf die Beschleunigung als auch auf die Höchstgeschwindigkeit.
Corvette
The Chevrolet Corvette went into production in 1953, much earlier than the Jaguar XK-E. This car would have been from the later part of the first series (1953 – 1962) – I'm not sure, but definitely sometime after 1957 and before 1963 (tip: in 1958 dual headlights became a “thing” in America.)

Dieses Auto ist aus der späteren Periode der ersten Serie (1953 - 1962) gewesen - ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber definitiv irgendwann nach 1957 und vor 1963 (Tipp: 1958 wurden Doppelscheinwerfer zu einem "Ding" in Amerika.)
Thunderbird
The final Red Beauty is a Ford Thunderbird, she's the oldest of the three. The beautiful version was only produced for three years, from 1955 until 1957.
Die letzte Red Beauty ist ein Ford Thunderbird, sie ist die älteste der drei. Diese schöne Version wurde nur für drei Jahre produziert, von 1955 bis 1957.
Sad Story of the Thunderbird
The Thunderbird is a sad story in the history of the “American Sports Car.” The Thunderbird went through all these iterations, the final one you see was Ford's pitiful attempt in 2002 to return the car to its original glory.

Which would you pick?
So if you could have one of the three which would it be, the Jaguar, the Corvette, or the Thunderbird? Personally, I would pick the Jaguar.
Wenn du also einen der drei haben könntest, wäre es der Jaguar, Corvette oder Thunderbird? Persönlich würde ich den Jaguar wählen.

Obwohl ich kein ausgesprochener Autofan bin, schaffst du es, mich durch deine tollen Fotos für diese Oldtimer restlos zu begeistern!
Was mich neben deinem fotografischen Können mindestens genauso stark beeindruckt, ist deine Kreativität bei der DSGVO-konformen Bearbeitung deiner Fotos. Beim näheren Hinsehen entdeckt man viele Details, sogar Marilyn Monroe scheint von der Corvette begeistert zu sein ;-)

My wife and I share a lot of the same interests and pastimes, but like you, she has little interest in autos. Once someone asked her what kind of auto we have and she answered, "It's a blue one." Interestingly, Jaguars are the only cars she ever notices or comments about ;-)

I've never had my own car before. Here in vienna, public transport is so well developed that you don't need one.
But oldtimers are something special, especially Jaguars. ;-)

Der "Jag" war damals definitiv mein Lieblingsauto. Bisher hat es nie für ein echtes gereicht, dafür besitze ich seit Urzeiten eines von Corgy Toys... Danke für den schönen Bericht!
So schön wie er ist, wären die Werkstattskosten bestimmt eine ganze andere Angelegneheit ;-)

Just like you I'd choose the Jaguar. For me, it has the most beautiful body and also the most beautiful inside. It is really a classic beauty.
