Early Morning In The Prospect Park, NY!

In the summer time on almost every Saturday morning I love to go jogging to one of my favorite parks in Brooklyn, NY. It’s a great place for jogging while not being surrounded by these tall buildings. Remember, it’s a New York City. We usually run the distance of about 4 miles and believe me, it’s a great feeling once we finish it.

It’s a favorite park for people to walk their dogs or even for dog walkers. There is 100’s of them on Saturday morning. Sometimes we sit, relax and enjoy watching them playing. It’s also amazing how friendly these dogs are with each other. I have not seen one dog fight since I started coming to this amazing park.

Unfortunately, I took an uninvited guest with me that day. When I noticed this bloodsucker the next day I actualy tried to pull it out. It was stuck so hard once it was inside my skin sucking my precious blood.

Eventually, I had to go to the doctor pulling this uninvited guest out. I got some antibiotics and also got tested for a lime decease which came out negative. Just last year my mother in law had infected tick in her leg. Fortunately, It still wasn’t too late and she took her antibiotics just in time. It’s a tick season right now, everyone should be really careful while going to any park. This is the first time was attacked by this little bloodsucker. Since then I’m completely checking myself throughout. Lime decease is a horrible decease and can be easily prevented. You can also get your blood tested even if you think you have never had tick in your life. It doesn’t hurt, it’s your health afterall.
