I took this picture in the summer, during the last warm days. During sunrise and sunset, tue sun rays hit earth from an angle making the cold blue light of the sky we are used to, into a warm shade of red. The so-called "magic hour" is an ideal opportunity to shoot landscapes, hence the name.
Very beautiful-- and an amazing experience when you get to witness it in person.
