Yellow roses became known late, only in the 18th century, when they were discovered in the Middle East. If until then were famous for pink roses, once the yellow variety came to Europe, it became popular quickly among horticultural enthusiasts.
The meaning of yellow roses differs from one culture to another. While the people of the Orient consider these flowers to be joyful and symbolize the wisdom and power of friendship, Europeans use yellow roses with a negative connotation: jealousy and shameless love.
