I see owls on my trail a lot I saw this one and took a quick picture , they are always looking for a good meal and my trail is a good place .At night while drifting off to sleep I can hear them hooting back and forth.Actually helps me get to sleep.

I used to raise ring neck pheasants and the owls would sit in tree by the pen watching them.
