Eagle watching me in yard
shortly after I took this picture the eagle swooped down grabbed a rabbit and flew off with the rabbit screaming. Eagles are very common in Alaska . I don’t see them everyday but very common to see them.

This is lovely. So majestic.
Yes they are, when see one I usually stop what I’m doing and just watch the bird. Now with the hi quality cameras on smartphones I have good chance of getting pictures since I usually have the phone in my pocket

We have bald eagles here in south west Missouri also. One of the more excellent things that your home and mine have in common!
The posture and position of this one reminds me of Sam Eagle from The Muppets!
They have easy access to rabbit, grouse squirrels
