Today at Snag Boat Bend...
Fallen leaves at Snag Boat Bend. County park. October 28th, 2017. Oliver runs ahead on the path.
Log swollen and under water. The water level rose quickly with past bit of rain we had. It actually poured! Up to 10" in some areas. Now the river moss has drowned and the beavers are napping as the air turns chill.
I got this picture before the smog or smoke from wherever rolled on. By the time we rolled out the smoke had filled the horizon and put fog on the river.

From the windshield view. And I don't think it's all from the pulp mill. I suspect another fire filled up the valley...
