Baiturrahman Mosque relics of Aceh history
Hi friend steemit, in this post I want to tell a little about the oldest mosque in the province of Aceh, or named with the Mosque Baiturrahman.
Baiturrahman Mosque is a relic of the sultanate of Aceh. The mosque is located in the City Center of Banda Aceh. According to historical searches, the mosque was built by Sultan Iskandar Muda in 1022 hijri or 1612 AD.
In 2004, when the earthquake and tsunami occurred in Aceh earth. Baiturrahman mosque is survived from earthquake shocks and tsunami waves of sea water. surrounding buildings collapsed ravaged.
By 2017, the Baiturrahman mosque has been restored, now the building is very beautiful, the decor is charming, the colors are attractive, thus attracting a number of visitors from within the region and abroad.
