This species of plant grows easily, those who use it as an ornamental usually have it indoors, however, it can be found here on the sides of roads, in gardens, and in vacant lots. I have seen its flowers only in two combinations, the one shown in the photo and also in orange, red and yellow. I suppose it is because of the latter color combination that it is called the Spanish flag.

Bienvenidos a mi blog.

Esta especie de planta crece con facilidad, los que la usan como ornamental suelen tenerla dentro de sus casas, sin embargo, aquí se puede encontrar en los lados de las carreteras, en jardines y en terrenos baldíos. He visto sus flores sólo en dos combinaciones, la que aparece en la foto y también en naranja, rojo y amarillo. Supongo que es por esta última combinación de colores por lo que se le llama bandera española.
