image image The King of Aceh: Sultan Iskandar Muda (Aceh, Banda Aceh, 1593 or 1590-Banda Aceh, Aceh, 27 September 1636) was the greatest sultan in the time of the Sultanate of Aceh, ruling in leading the kingdom of Aceh from 1607 to 1636.Aceh reached his glory at the time of Iskandar Muda's sultan's leadership, where his growing dominion and international reputation were central to trade and learning about Islam. His name is now preserved at Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport in Aceh.
