Aceh Jaya is an expansionary district of Aceh Barat, a hilly area and many wild islands scattered in the sea. Aceh Jaya can be reached by a distance of two hours from the city of Banda Aceh by motor vehicle. This place has many attractions that invite curious and refresh the eyes of visitors.
Aceh Jaya is the worst area hit by tsunami 2004 ago. Currently the district with the Calang capital has started to rise and preen as one tourist destination after the Visit Aceh movement encouraged.
