Angkor Vat - Bayon Temple - Cambodia (Part2)

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

Hi, Dear Steemian Friends

I cannot resist sharing a little more pictures of Bayon Temple, it is by far one of the most impressive sites of Angkor Vat with all the faces carved, all the stupas (conic towers pointing to the sky), all the remaining pieces of the Temples you can find in the forest or on the side of the roads, and the monkeys playing with it. This Bayon Temple has a really good energy attached to it and it is just difficult how to explain it but it makes you feel good. I am nearly sure the sound print (vibration) made by the pyramidal structure of Bayon must be the same as the Egyptian Pyramids. I think it is not a coincidence that both places have been built on the same lay line also if you look at Egyptian characters and Angkor Temple characters you will find much more than similarities, like the Egyptian character with wings (that also looks like Sumerian characters) is very very close to the Garuda depicted in Angkor and all over South East Asia. It is maybe the reason for some high profile researches are battling about the real period of Angkor, with most of the mainstream researcher saying it is less than a 1000 years old and other saying it is more than 5000 years old, exactly the same thing is going on about the build period of the pyramids of Egypt, or even Stonehenge in England. But when looking back at all these so-discussed civilizations many similarities come to place High knowledge of agriculture, water system, architecture not even possible today, high knowledge of astronomy that we cannot even really understand today. Personally, I don't trust mainstream history because it has been proved from time to time that they modify the history to deserve the mainstream agenda. There is only one way to understand what is going on is by doing our own research and our own idea. Anyway, just to say to enjoy the beauty of Bayon Temple, more of Angkor will come as soon as I get more time to publish.

I never feel bored to see the pictures of Ancient architecture. It's so fascinating and beautiful. (but better to be there ^0^)

I made about 30Go of pictures so you may see a lot :) It is kind of surreal when you see some pieces of big sculpture lost in the forest as well as temples, really understand your fascination :)

นครวัดแห่งนี้เป็นสถาปัตยกรรมที่เก่าแก่และสวยงามมากๆค่ะ

I think it is much older than what they told us because all the Buddhas have been added in another period. Thank You :)

I love the architectural of Angkor Wat very much.
Because, this has a great history of more than 5000 years.
I think that this place is more beautiful than the pyramid of Egypt.
And I want to see it in this condition forever.
thank you very much great content & beautiful pictures khun@ricko66

Thank You @beer32, I think the same it is more attractive than the pyramids of Egypt and it shares the same kinds of technical property. It is both pyramids :)

If I were there I would feel stay in the different world. Beautiful but mystery.

It has a great feeling when in the middle of the ruins the only problem is the behaviors of Mainland Chinese tourist as they don't respect anything, but guards are there to keep them from doing bad things. It is a feeling of good vibes to be there :)

It makes me feel like I was back in the times when all of this was happening . Very dramatic and interesting at the same time.

It is a great place to visit, the feeling is intense and the surrounding nature is a plus, Thanks

Nice photos with very sharp lens! The atmosphere is very powerful! Great vibration about those stone sculptures! Can be spooky at night!

Angkor Vat at night must be another dimension especially if you are alone. Alone, every sound and shadow must be spooky, it must be a great experience because the place is very charged with different energies.

I went to Ankor severals year ago and saw the sunrising in the morning.... Most magical moment !

Hi, @roxane, it is always a pleasure to read you as I know how much you love this part of the world. I was there first time in 93/94 but it wasn't much fun, because of the mines and the weapons. I also wake up at 4am and go to see the sunrise over Angkor. Magical :)

😍 Thanks for sharing this pic @ricko66 😍
Yeah.. mines and weapons... :-/ It was very hard for Cambodia at that time... :(

My pleasure @roxane I remember how much you love this part of the world. Even today, it is bad, still, have some mines in some place and it is impossible to clean it all. It is also shocking to see that much people with no legs or arms as the direct result of the mines. Thank You. :)
