A Tower at West Tai Lake, Changzhou

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

So, Gehu / West Tai Lake is a slowly developing resort area in south western Changzhou. There really isn't much out by the lake, and as I covered a few days ago, there is also some abandoned construction.  Here are a few other things in the area.

Notice the tower behind these artistically rendered waves? Let's take a closer look at that.

Several years ago, this wasn't open to the public. Last time I visited, it actually was. So, I decided to pay for a ticket to the top viewing deck.

There is also a cafe, but they don't sell much. Makes sense if you consider that this isn't the tourist hotspot the Changzhou government likely thinks it will be in five to ten years. The view is, well ...

... not all that much.  Here's a look at those same buildings from the ground.

I think one of those buildings (the one on the far right) is actually open as a hotel. The one in the middle has been slowly under construction for years. Who knows? I'll go back in a year, and I suspect things will look the same, and that's unusual in a place like Changzhou that is rapidly growing both economically and physically with construction.

Sort:

The view seems to see constructions and constructions.
FYI, i think there's a typo. Somewhere you have:
“Makes since if..."
I think since is sense :-)

got it and will fix it.
