The World in Photos #1 ☺ Cuckmere River - England.
The Cuckmere River is born near Heathfield in East Sussex, England on the southern slopes of the Weald. The name of the river probably derives from an old English word that means that it flows fast, since it descends more than 100 m in its first 6.5 km of route. The river flows into the Channel of Manche, being the only outlet of a river in the coast of Sussex that has not been conformed by the man.
