PhotoChallenge SunThursday: Shorebirds and Sunset
I was lucky enough to have this squadron of shorebirds run into the frame just as I snapped the image of the sunset at Moss Landing State Beach. Moss Landing is Located in Monterey Bay Part way between the City of Monterey and the City of Santa Cruz. Just inland is the harbor and Elkhorn Slough and the three combine make for for on the best places on the planet to watch and photograph shorebirds and marine mammals.
