PhotoChallenge BeachWednesday: The Condo's on the Cliff

It was an overcast day so what do you do with the photo's from an overcast day? You make them black and white of course. These Condo's, and many other properties like them, are why Santa Cruz is losing it's beaches. They sell for over a million dollars each. Of course their owners are going to lobby the city/county/state to prevent cliff erosion. That trifecta of agencies have step up too. Encasing many of the Santa Cruz area cliffs in concrete textured to look like natural sandstone. Problem is the cliff erosion is what keeps the replenishing the sandy beaches. No erosion and soon there will be no beaches.
