Then they turned it into one of the greatest malecons, no traffic allowed, walking only, scenic sights you will ever get the chance to see. At night it comes alive. There's plenty to do and look at. The food is good and inexpensive. The vendors leaver their shops and set up all along the malecon. Hard to go wrong here for the sheer enjoyment factor.
