AN ABUNDANCE OF FLOWERS

I am a little behind schedule this Saturday. It is close to noon. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Our weather is starting to heat up hear in North Idaho. Now it is time to adjust to the hotter temperatures. We have a 45 - 50 degree swing from high temperatures during the day to the lows overnight. I am gradually collecting photographs of my garden for a future post.

To clarify the temperature swings I did not consider Celsius. With that in mind yesterday it was Yesterday it was 95 degrees F = 35 Celsius then at night 42 degrees F = 5.55 Celsius. And the hotter temperatures come later in Summer.

Today I have more flower photographs to share. This week I am finding it a little easier to choose my first photograph. I do not know the name of the flower, or even where I took the photograph. It might be one of many in my wildflower garden. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised that the lighting was such that I caught the shadow of the pestle.

I always like to add a rose in my posts. I have no favorite flower, but everyone seems to love roses:

My next photo I took with my android phone when I was at my daughter's home. I took photos of many of her flowers, but using them sparingly. I just loved the color blends of this hanging baskets.

This next flower I am not sure of. I believe it was when we visited Manito Gardens in Spokane, Washington. I used my Macro lens to get a very close view of a flower. I just cannot remember what flower it was.

Next up is a Begonia that was in a greenhouse at Manito Gardens:

Here is another flower that I took the photograph at at Manito Gardens, in the Japanese Garden. It was on a tall shrub:

My final photograph is of a small wildflower that was in a mix we planted last year. Might even be the same type of flower the butterfly was on last week:
