My Tiny Planets #7: The Oculus, New York
When I was in New York, I had to visit the World Trade Center Memorial (like the rest of the world). The Oculus holds the WTC train station and also a shopping mall and I was impressed with the lining, shape, meaning, symmetry and brightness. During the anniversary 9/11, it opens it's skylight, which should sort of mimic the idea of a white dove opening his wings during flight. At 10:28 the sun shines through the opening, this refers to the moment that the second tower collapsed.
