I simply couldn't resist, I felt like taking a chunk of them home but remembered it wasn't my father's garden 😄. So I quickly whipped out my took these beautiful shots...

I had seen those flowers before a couple of times but they caught my attention specially this time, enough for me to go look up the name and read a lot about them. The contrast between the bright red flowers and the green leaves and brown thorns make them pop from a distance. They bloom almost all year round because they need very little water to survive.
