Vallis woodlands in Somerset is an SSSI. This means it is a site of special scientific interest. Thankfully this means it will not be altered any time soon.

I visit this place a lot. Each time things are different and I discover something new.

There are local myths and legends about the place. Some, involve faeries...
I may delve into that another time.
