They bond really well with a single person if you have one as a pet. They do get mad though if you become friends with them and then leave... like really mad. My mom's macaw buddy that looks EXACTLY like those macaws always hated me when I left to go back home. But soon we would make up and he would be back to letting me pet him.

I've only ever seen them at the zoo. I've had some cool encounters with wolves but that's about it.
