"Bond Estate is in the Onetangi wine-growing region and comprises the 4.2 hectare Miro Vineyard and the outstanding Tapas restaurant called Casita Miro. Miro is the closest vineyard to Onetangi Beach, a summer playground for holiday makers. Views from the vineyard are spectacular, looking out over the vines, the village and the sea. Grapes in the region ripen to a rare succulent intensity in the hot summer sun. The mineral rich soil provides the vines with flavour-enhancing elements. Red grapes such as Syrah and Bordeaux varietals are our focus here but we also grow beautiful Pinot Gris and a small amount of Viognier for blending with the Syrah. We are delighted to announce the release of our favourite every-day drinking wine, the Summer Aphrodisiac!"

The wine on this Island is absolutely world class. If you are big wine drinkers, try buying a Waiheke wine. Im currently learning more about wine to become better at my job, so If you have any questions about Waiheke wine, it would be beneficial for me to answer them.
