I'll try to post one photo every day now, there is so much material I produced over the last 2 decades, some commercial and some experimental or just for fun.
Venezuela is on the top of my travel list, but it seems to be no good idea to visit at the moment. How is the everday life these days? Are you directly confronted with crime and shortages? I'd love to hear something about the situation from someone who lives there, as media coverage is scarce and propagandistic.
It's tough living here, specially as a foreigner, you'll have to watch your back and try to stay inside after dark. If there is an opportunity someone will take advantage.
There are lines in front of stores and supermarkets with hundreds of people waiting to get their hands on rationed food supplies, you will see national guards or police guarding the supermarkets. You won't find basic food such as milk, butter, bread, and most of all there is a big shortage of medical supplies and medicine.
You can buy medication and some food on the black market, but the price can be as high as 4x of what you would pay in the US or Europe.
The police is corrupt, so when you get stopped they might take your money.. not a good time to travel to Venezuela at the moment.
I don't know exactly yet. The Tepuis have intrigued me forever, basically I'm always looking for places that are off the tourist paths (see my posts about Rio and Chanaral in Chile) - so you mean traveling outside Caracas and the big cities is fine?

I live here for another month, the situation is grave, It's not a good idea anymore to take photos... the crime rate skyrocketed in the last years..

Well Margarita is fine, but i wouldnt goto caracas at the moment.
